What is SSI (Supplemental Security Income)?
SSI is designed to help disabled people, who have little or no income; who have either never worked or who haven't earned enough work credits. SSI is funded is a government benefit that provides cash to meet basic needs for food, clothing, and shelter for those who qualify.
